1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RepuTend, operated by Awesome Tools LLC (“RepuTend”, “we”, “us”), including the RepuTend MCP server and API at mcp.reputend.com, the free audit and the RepuTend Evidence plugin for WordPress (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Service for a business, you accept these Terms on that business’s behalf, and “you” means both you and the business. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
RepuTend is for businesses. You may connect a Trustpilot profile only if you are authorized to act for the business it belongs to. We may check that you speak for the business, and we may decline a request for access or end access you are not authorized to have.
3. Your account and team
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in details and access keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including what the members of your team do.
The person who subscribes is the account owner. Only the account owner can manage billing, invite members and remove them. If you think someone else has your access key, tell us at support@reputend.com right away.
4. What RepuTend does
RepuTend watches your Trustpilot profile, screens new and edited 1–3★ reviews against Trustpilot’s published guidelines, and prepares a filing packet for each review it can tie to a specific guideline. When it finds no breach in a review, it labels the review genuine and recommends a reply instead of a report. It follows each report through to Trustpilot’s decision.
Trustpilot can change its guidelines, its reporting tools or its website at any time. When it does, parts of the Service may change, slow down or stop working until we adapt them.
The free audit
The free audit needs no account. It reads a sample of recent low-star reviews on a public Trustpilot profile and estimates how many are likely disputable. An audit result is an estimate, not a finding that any review breaks Trustpilot’s guidelines.
5. Filing reports
A person checks the facts in every packet before it is filed. You choose who files:
- You file the report yourself from the packet in Trustpilot’s business portal, then tell RepuTend it is done.
- You add RepuTend as a user on your Trustpilot Business account, and we file reports from that account.
If you add RepuTend to your Trustpilot Business account, you authorize us to report reviews on your profile through Trustpilot’s reporting tool and to see Trustpilot’s responses to those reports. You can require your approval before anything is filed, and you can remove our access in Trustpilot at any time.
Your Trustpilot Business account stays yours. You are responsible for complying with Trustpilot’s terms for businesses and for the facts you give us about your business. Trustpilot may warn or act against business accounts that misuse its reporting tool. RepuTend caps how many of your reports are open at once to lower that risk, but it cannot remove it.
6. AI output and limits
RepuTend uses AI models from third-party providers to screen reviews and write drafts. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. A person checks each packet before it is filed, and every packet quotes the guideline it relies on word for word so you can check it too. If you file a packet yourself, review it before you file.
Processing has daily limits, so screening may take longer when many reviews arrive at once. Attack Mode raises the limits for a short period. We may adjust limits to protect the stability of the Service.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you give us, and you let us use it to provide the Service. We also use what Trustpilot decides on reports, in aggregate, to improve the Service.
Connecting your billing platform
Connecting your billing platform is optional. Today it works through the RepuTend Evidence plugin for WordPress stores that run Easy Digital Downloads or WooCommerce. The plugin searches your store’s records on your own server and sends RepuTend a verdict only: match confidence, and purchase, license, refund and subscription status. Names, emails, order numbers and amounts stay on your site. The plugin reads your orders and does not change them.
You are responsible for your site, its security and backups, and for keeping the plugin up to date. You confirm that you have the right to let the plugin search your store’s records for this purpose.
8. Fees and billing
Prices for each plan and for Attack Mode are listed in the pricing section and shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments. Each fee is charged as follows.
| Fee | When we charge it | Credits and refunds |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly fee (Standard) | In advance, at the start of each billing period | The first monthly fee can be refunded within 14 days (see the refund policy) |
| Removal fee (both plans) | When a review you approved or reported through RepuTend comes off Trustpilot, whether Trustpilot removed it or its author deleted it: once you tell RepuTend that Trustpilot removed it, or once RepuTend confirms it is gone from your profile and from its own page | Credited if the review comes back |
| Attack Mode | Each time you or a member of your team turns it on, at the price and duration quoted just before | Not refundable, including when it is turned off early |
A removal fee applies only to a review you approved or reported through RepuTend, and at most once for each report. We never charge one for a review you did not approve or report, even one RepuTend checked or drafted a report for, or for a report you filed before using RepuTend. Attack Mode never turns on by itself.
If a payment fails, we may pause filing until it succeeds. Monitoring continues while filing is paused. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.
9. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal, each removal fee and each Attack Mode activation, including removal fees that come due after you cancel.
10. Cancellation and termination
The account owner can cancel at any time through the billing portal, whose link your AI assistant can give you, or by emailing support@reputend.com. On Standard, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and RepuTend keeps working until then. On Contingency, which has no monthly fee, it takes effect right away.
When cancellation takes effect:
- RepuTend stops monitoring your reviews and preparing reports.
- Cases that have not been filed stop where they are.
- You and your team lose access to the account’s cases, reviews and drafts, and your access keys stop working for it.
- Reports already filed with Trustpilot are still followed, and a removal fee for one of them is still charged to your payment method on file.
- We keep the account’s data, so it is all there if you subscribe again.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or don’t pay what you owe.
11. Refund policy
If you subscribe to Standard, you can get your first monthly fee back within 14 days of your first purchase. To ask for it, email support@reputend.com from the account owner’s email address within those 14 days.
Renewals, removal fees and Attack Mode activations are not refundable. A removal fee is credited instead if the review comes back. Cancelling stops future billing but does not request or issue a refund.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
- use it for a business you are not authorized to act for;
- ask us to report a review you know is genuine, or give us facts you know are false;
- use anything from the Service to harass or retaliate against a reviewer;
- disrupt the Service, get around its security or usage limits, or try to reach another business’s data;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
Running the free audit from many identities, or through automated requests, to get around its limits is circumvention, and we may block it.
13. Intellectual property
RepuTend and its software, documentation and branding are owned by Awesome Tools LLC. These Terms give you no rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service, including the filing packets and drafts we prepare for your business.
The RepuTend Evidence plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, and these Terms don’t limit the rights that license gives you. If you send us feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
We provide the Service “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that Trustpilot will remove any review, that RepuTend will find every review that breaks Trustpilot’s guidelines, or that AI output is accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing anything you file or rely on.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for what Trustpilot decides or does, including any action it takes on your business account.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Awesome Tools LLC against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service, your data, or the facts you give us for a report.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Florida.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
